I bought an 11.0:1 cp piston from Alba. there are 2 stickers on the box, one with the part number for the 11.0:1 piston, and one with the part number for the 12.0:1 piston. Alba is telling me that they put the wrong label on the box by mistake and it is in fact the 11.0:1 piston that I ordered.

So what I need to know is if there is any way for my to identify the true compression of the piston by looking at it. the only thing i see on the piston itself is "X100a" does this mean anything? thanks for any help!

Is CP making the xx pistons corrected deck height? If not either one should run fine on pump gas. I could be wrong though...

Your Cp piston should have came with a specification sheet. Look for the shelf part # and tell us what it says.
