I have some good hunting boots I use..I messed my ankle up on a dirt bike 3 years ago...so I wear boots of some sort when I ride. I do have some Fox Motorcross boots, I like them but they are stiff. It is hard to change gears with them on. I have a buddy who used to race in Motorcross, he said fill the boots up with water and walk around in them a few hours and they will break in so I can move my toes to shift....I have not tried the water thing yet..Back to the hunting boots...I have a pair of hunting/hiking boots they have a really stiff ankle so it will protect you. I have Irish Setter hunting boots and Vasque hiking boots...I paid 120 for the Irish Setters and 185 for the Vasque...worth every penny...I hope this helps...

I have the Thor ATV Quadrants and they are pretty good. No boot is going to be completely waterproof unless you buy some rubber boots but these work nice especially for the price. Oneal makes a pair of boots that are called the Element. I have the Thor and my girlfriend just got the Elements. Reletively the same price but the Elements seem more flexible and a bit more comfortable. Also how the sole goes together it looks like it would be a bit more water proof. If I would have seen the Oneals before the Thor ones I would have bought those. Hope that helps.

Most good MX boots are waterproof to an extent. I use Fox F3 MX boots and when it wet or muddy , I wear over the boot racing pants like the Shift Recon pants. Never had wet feet yet . The reason I tried the Shift pants is because my Fox boots are white and got fed with cleaning them. :D

I bought a cheap pair of waterproof boots from K-mart and they work perfectly. Never had a drop get in the boot. Feels nice to ride with dry feet.

I wear Rockies, Redheads from Bass Pro, or Carhartt. Havent had a problem with any of them and I spend a lot of time in the mud andcrossing the creeks in east TN. The only time my feet get wet is when I put them in water deeper than the top of the boot!
