Just got a new exhaust, and noticed a carbon buildup on the tip of the exhaust. Do i need to adjust the fuel pump and if so how?
Its an fmf slip-on.
Much help would be appreciated!
its EFI so I'd say no, unless you have a program to hook up to the ecu. The EHS programmer will take care of the settings and most future modifications as well.
i put the stock pipe back on, its running strong now and no more carbon buildup. This summer im going to buy the programmer and put the exhaust back on. Thanks guys!
Just curious... Did you ever look at the spark plug to see if there was carbon build up there? Checking the fuel mixture with a new plug is always going to be the best way to check if you're running lean or rich.
