Decided to try out the 6 ply ITP Mud Lite tires for my 700xx. Trying a different size than I've seen anyone else use on this site. Went with 23X8X11. I just didn't want the height of 24" rears b/c I wanted to keep the front stock tires on it for now. I'll let you know how it works out if anyone is interested.

Looks awesome! I rode with a guy on a raptor that had those tires, he had no problems! Those are what I was going to use till I went to RAZR2s and 10" Wheels

I didnt personally install the tires on the rims, but they fit just fine on the stock rims. And since I got 8inch width it makes it a little less wide in the rear end now. But i was told they were a pain to get on since the are 6 ply. After this weekend I will know how they really perform in all conditions, but for now ive found that i get very little traction in the rocks, but they are great in the mud seeing as thats what they are made for anyways.

sorry to revive, but how did they perform? im looking at running a 23x8x11, either itp or someother mud tire, i ride mostly loose dirt and grass, i would have thought 8 inches wide was too narrow but it looks fine in your pictures

Welcome to the club! I don't think you will get a reply from the OP. I agree on the 8" being to skinny. But I've seen OP use 8" front and rear, so all tires are same size. I personally thought the 9" OEM's were to skinny as well.

I didn't care for them bc I ride on more medium to hard pack terrain and they didn't handle well at high speeds. So now I ride the Kenda Kutters.

Welcome back! First post in over 3 years!!!:yay: Are those still the oem front tires?

Haha, he is alive. How's it going? I still have that front rim you bought me after thrashing the others ones, and it's still in the box LOL.

Boo

Figured I'd say something just to prove you wrong! And yes those are still stock front tires and rims. But I barely ride her anymore, so no need to upgrade. I'd rather be on the jet ski or motorcycle. See ya in another 3yrs.

I did the same size but went with Kenda bear claws. I havent been mudding yet but they rip up the grass and sand quite well. I have to order a 12t for the farm to slow it down but I am happy with them.
