Hey just picked up an 08 xx today looking to put a wider tire on the stock rim what is the widest I can fit on there and what should my first upgrades be exhaust etc. help me out please

First mod should be tires the stock tires are poop. There aren't a lot of options in the 11" rear. There are maxxis razrs, kenda kutters, maxxis zillas, kenda bearclaws , and itp mud lites, and carlisle 489's are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I've got kutters in stock size and zillas in a 24-10-11 size. I'm sure you may be able to get 11" wide to fit but the may rub on the shock I guess depends on the tires true size. Hope this helps as I spent many hours deciding which tires to go with. And I'm very happy with both pairs the kutters are awesome and the zillas rip hard on the xx.

I'm running a set of kenda kutters in OEM size 22-9-11. And I've got a pair of maxxis zillas on the xx right now and they are24-10-11 and not a problem. And I'm running maxxis razrs in the front in stock size 21-7-10
