Hello all.

I'm looking into switching from a DS450X to a TRX700. I just started looking for a TRX. I was wondering what I should look out for in which model years. Also, did they only make them in 2008/09? Why?

I love my DS, but the ground clearance or lack thereof kills me on the power lines. The independent rear suspension with 9" of clearance might help me in a big way!!!

There isn't really anything to look out for with these. The suspension isn't the best, but then again it never is on stock quads. Honda didn't make any model year 2010 sport quads, and haven't introduced any 2011 year ones yet either except for the 250X. I lived up in Farmington NH when I first got mine, worked perfect for the power trails and going across the Lake I lived on in the winter time. Lots of power as well. I would definately recommend getting different tires for up there if you are riding the powerlines though, considering it is so darn rocky.

Not only will the IRS help you go over stuff, it is a much more plush and comfy ride.
