Hi im new here! I just got my first 700 it's an 08. It's been having some heating issues since I got it in various conditions. I rode in the snow today which made the issue worse to the point I lost a bit of coolant. I checked oil levels they're fine and I recently cleaned the radiator with water and then air. Planning on flushing and putting in engine ice. Tricky part is, after i turned the machine off, the water pump was making this weird chugging noise I've never heard before. Machine is stock other than kn air filter.

....did it just sound like boiling water? If not I would say your waterpump is shot....sorry to hear its down

Does it still have the thermostat? I'd check that for sure. Did the fan ever turn on?

Could have air in the system look up in the service manual on the bleeding procedure, also check the spark arrestor and muffler for restrictions
