I have a 11:1 cp piston and want to do +1 valves on the intake. Do I need to cut the piston pockets a little more or is it set up for the +1 valves? I asked the machinest I know and he said I should take out as little as possible as or risk losing compression. If I do need to take more off can I just use a dremel to sand that .5 mil off?

they will fit from factory but its not a bad idea to cut the edge down a bit. On a fresh cylinder that piston rock is minimal you would probably never have an issue on a cylinder that gets wear the piston rock will increase. still you might never have an issue cp pockets are generally much bigger than other companies for bigger valves. its common to overlook piston rock into squish and valve measurments but it is important. on a pump gas motor i would rather have a little extra metal to metal room vs a little extra comp on a race motor its a little different.
