Well, a couple of weeks ago my girlfriend's neighbor shot her cat in the neck and killed him. Her cat was the nicest cat I've ever met and wouldn't harm a fly. The neighbor is just a huge asshole. My girlfriend loves animals and was absolutely devistated. She has been down and out lately and it kills me to see her this way. The entire situation upsets me as well. I did my best to find a cat that looks similar and has a good temperment. I went to save a pet and found a great cat, he's lying down with me at this moment. Hopefully she likes him, it might be too soon. I'm furious with the neighbor though and the police wont do anything. I was told revenge is a dish best served cold. He'll get his eventually! Her are some pics of her cat puma shot in the neck and the new cat I bought her.

I cant believe the cops wont do anything. Around my neck of the woods the cops would get them for cruely on animals or pets. If you get revenge now they will know it was you. Wait a little then get revenge.

What a horrible thing to happen...I am so sorry for her loss... contact these people they should be able to help or tell who can. This guy should be punished!

if some one killed my cat... i get my ferind pit bull and let him have some fun with my the guy..or get a skunk and put him in they guys car or garage... or have fun with some eggs

Get a greese gun and shove it as far as you can up his exhaust pipe (if you can get to the muffler that is a bonus) and fill it full of greese. When his car heats up it will smoke like a bastard but it will only do it when it gets real hot.

If he takes it to a dealer or mechanic it wont smoke because it won't be hot enough - the dealer or mechanic will go through the engine and find nothing and give him a big bill. Even if he does the work himself it will take a long time to work it out because everyone will assume its the engine not the exhaust.

This may happen a few times as a smoking engine could be many things and every time he thinks he knows what the problemis it will cost him more.

I have done this and it took over a month to work out what the issue was.

Heres the killer........if you see his car smoking call the EPA.

I can't believe the cops won't do anything. I would have beat his ass within a inch of his life. I have had my cat for about 4 years now, got her when I lived in spain. Sorry for your loss.

That is sad. Im not a big cat person, but it isnt right to kill one that isnt a nuisance. But remember, no matter what dont do something that can potentially get you in trouble. A cat isnt wotth a vandalising ticket or any kind of legal issue.

sorry to here that. and it isn't right I know. cause i had a similar thing happen to me. on the 5th of november someone around our neighborhood I don't know who but they poisoned our cat and we found him dead in one of our flowerbeds. and I was the same way mad. cause our cat was one that someone had dumped off and it just decided to stay at our house when I had my collar bone broke. and it was the same way mild tempered and followed me everywhere in the yard. It even would lay on the top of my truck bed and look down over the side and watch my sand on the body filler and stuff like that. so it was sad when we found him. so I know how it feels but at least you know who killed your cat. I don't know who killed ours.

People are sick and unfortunetly this cat led to a huge fight. My girlfriend freaked out at me and said she wanted to pick one out of her own. Now I'm an asshole for trying to do a nice thing. I just dont get it. She wants me to return this little guy and love him. Cat stays, she can figure out what she wants to do.

May I make the same suggestion that dadgirl71 made? If you like that cat so much, why don't you keep it and let your girl friend pick out the one she wants? Compromise, it will enhance your relationship.
Note: If you didn't see your neighbor shoot that cat then anything you do will be nothing but vengeance on a possible innocent person. Remember "what goes around comes around". That person will get their just rewards some time.

Horrible! I agree with Nikki in contacting the SPCA. They don't take these kinds of things liightly. But get on it, and don't let time pass on it if you know he did it for sure.

I agree, don't plot revenge, get the correct people involved. I am amazed the police didn't do anything. Guy shoots a cat first, tomorrow it could be a person. I would continue with the police, if the officer you talked to didn't do anything, move up the chain of command.

Do we really need the pic of the cat that was shot on here? Sorry, just found it kind of disturbing.

Two cats is a great idea! My wife and I both have our own cats from before we met and they get along great, I can't imagine what they would do without each other.
