Hey guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right board to be posting this in, but I have some questions regarding maintenace for post winter/beginning of summer. I have not ridden my TRX for around 8 months now, as it has been sitting in my shed up north. Before winter I winterized it by putting in fuel stabilizer and removing the battery. I want to know if there are any tips or techniques you guys use to 'de-winterize' atv's and specifically the 700XX. I was thinking maybe oil change, flushing the coolant, cleaning the chain, etc.
Any other suggestions?

Always clean and lube chain, every ride. Oil change depends on hours of oil in the quad. More so with flushing radiator, not really necessary. Now I would defiantly pull seat and inspect and or clean and oil air filter. Check all air pressure, and If all fluids were fresh when stored, just dbl check levels including brake fluid and ride! If you stored it with fresh oil, I'd burn old fuel in tank, and maybe one more ride and then change oil and filter just to be safe.
