Now this may be a stupid question but lean to the inside and push down on the outside peg?

Tightening the rear pre load will for sure help you slide better. The only thing I noticed with the tighter pre load is how hard the XX bounces when you go fast down a trail with deep ruts. The XX will jump up rather than just absorbing the pot hole and possibly bounce you off the machine. Almost happened to me a couple of weekends ago.

More preload means you're tightening the spring. If you were looking at the shock from above you would be turning the nut clockwise or righty tighty. You're simply compressing the spring= more preload. How much do you weigh though? If you're a lighter guy like me you're going to barely tighten it.

I weigh 150 and the back shocks seems to be set up perfect from the factory for me and my riding style, however i did stiffen the pre load one complete turn on the front shocks because i was bottoming out too much in the front.the 700xx isnt going to powerslide too good on ground you get a lot of traction on it only slides good on loose dirt and mud that is slippery. if the dirt is moist with no dust it hooks up and goes not much sliding there. it slides good under real dusty conditions.

I am only running the rear bar and I think it is amazing.
Thats really cool and I think its great that they designed it but I dont have any issues with the handling of the XX. I know there is body roll but I've adjusted and kinda like when the front tire comes up during a power slide, gives it character. haha:lol:

Unfortunately I did, it would have been cheaper if I would have been happy with it the way it was though. To anyone else, if you can't stand body roll like me...........try riding a 700XX that has a Sonic sway bar.

yeah the way the suspension works is kinda like a trophy truck,i dont have any issues with it either i just adapted and i love it. while the straight axle quads are spinning we are getting traction.

Don't get me wrong, I love the traction this thing has. I just got tired of too much on the outside tire while cornering. I think it is just how you like to ride, I couldn't stand rolling through the turns. I wanted to be able to drive through the turns hard like an SRA quad, but still have the awesome IRS on the straights. I think it just fit my riding style. There are many different riding styles, but only one 700XX.

I agree with Baxter this thing luvs the mud, been playing in it since i found a mud hole out back. seemingly endless fun. I am 220 pounds and like the suspension the way its stock settings were. it gives it character, and you get used to its quirks after a while.
