I like it and it has saved my frame on a few occasions. PRM makes great stuff. I did have to grind some material off to keep the front A-arms from hitting the plate during full extension. I called PRM about it and they kind of acted dumb about it like I didn't know what I was talking about. They obviously never fully extended the a-arms for clearance issues because it did not hit when the machines wheels where on the ground with just the weight of the bike. And you know as well as I do that the wheels are not always on the ground :). I did get one when they first came out so I am hoping they have fixed the issue since then. I do get a slight annoying vibration from the skid plate but I have not looked into it fully yet to see what I am going to do with that. I got the .190" thick one. I am still very please with it.
I bought an inner tube from Tractor Supply (doesnt matter what it fits) and cut it up into strips which I glued with contact cement to the skid plate. I only put the strips where the skid contacts the frame and I left a few open areas so that water can drain out easily. This helped the vibration some. My worst vibrations are coming through the PRM side bars, I drilled some small holes at each end and filled with silicone. This made it more livable.
