New Can Am Renegage X xc....$12,199.00 msrp. Holy sh!t!!!

http://www.can-am.brp.com/en-US/models/renegade-800r/renegade-800r-x-xc/key-features.htm

Gotta say that is a sweet 4x4, but that is more than I paid for my first brand new car!
I put a deposit down this morning on a new 800 Gade Xc and a LTD 800 Outty Max with air ride.
$34000.00 for 2 machines. My 08 Gade X has been a stellar machine. The mileage is getting up there so it's time for some new ones. Got to pay to play. The new ones have 71hp so it should be a good difference then my 08 at 62.

Post pics when you get 'em.

Congrats though!
It'll be around August for the Max. It took till November for the Gade X when i ordered in May last time. The Max was about a 2 month wait last year.

Damn, you must ride a hell of a lot more than most of us if you're already trading in an 08'!!
Not to mention you must be in a different tax bracket than me!! 34K for 2 machines? WOW!!! I'm jealous!

I'm at 17k on my Gade. My 700xx has about 8k on it at 10 months old. We have 12 machines in the family and pretty much get traded every year or second. Except two we keep for the newbies to the sport. 04 Yamaha Kodiak with 52k and a 04 KFX700 with 39k. We have one of the largest trail systems around. About 30k all year round. We used to be hardcore sledders and that was expensive. ATVing is pocket change.

This was family and friends for a Thanksgiving ride.

I'm sure it will. my 08 is no slouch. The power steering on the '10 will be sweet.

Power steering is a real nice addition. I'm sure you've rode a Grizzly, but that is pretty nice being able to steer a ute EASILY with one hand. My "younger" buddy that has a Renegade poo pooed the idea of PS, but I told him don't knock it until you've rode with it! Plus, it essentially acts as a dampener as well. Too bad they aren't offering that on the standard Renegade 800R.

We have 2 08 Grizzly's and I hate the power steering on those. They give way too much assist and you can't ride aggressive with it without crashing. CanAm designed a dual mode where you can pick how much feedback you want. The stabilizer is the cats ass with any eps though.

Really? I guess I haven't really done more than putt around on my friends Grizzly, so i don't know what it would be like when ridden aggresively. You have too many damn quads! That's a nice problem to have , for sure!

Polaris so far has the best EPS system available right now. The Grizzly's is more for the plowing guys, not sport riding. There's quite a few machines at my disposal and get to ride different bikes all the time. Not many sporties though. One thing I can say each brand has their own highlights. Not one is perfect. I'm a huge CanAm fan though.

I'll be looking forward to your opinions on the Renegade X xc when you get yours.

May be worth the trip.. how much for a used 08 with less than 10 hours? Just curious. Could sell, then come back to the states and buy again with 3k in your pocket.
A used 08 here in Ontario would be around $7000.00. Say I could get a bike for $5000.00 US. It wold cost me. 39% taxes, duties, exchange. add a RIV fee of $200.00. Not really worth it.
