My XX had a severely bent peg when I got it. It had pulled the heel guard competely out of whack. I figured I would just remove the heel guard and get a new peg. Problem is the rear fender is kind of loose and floppy if not connected to the heal guard at the one spot. Anyone make brackets to remedy this? Not sure what you would do if you bought aftermarket nerfs and heels. You would have the same issue. Attached photos to show the peg and the hole in the fender that is missing any support.

All aftermarket nerfs have the support for the fender?
If so, I will probably get a set of nerfs. I have used them in the past mostly.

There needs to be some way to support the rear fender so brackets come with pro armour nerfs..
Would assume others do too as pretty useless without

Are the heel guards bad? Looks just like a bent peg from here?

I think the heel guard is probably fine. It is a little deformed looking where it runs along the peg. I'm sure I could get a replacement peg and put it back on. Which I may do. Not sure if I want to drop a wad on nerfs yet. I need to get this thing out for a day of riding and analyze its weakest points. I know I want to do a motor build, but I may go after suspension and steering stabalizer initially. It would be awesome to have a sport quad that was plush and stable.

I think it depends on the type of riding you do. The stock Trx has some power, unless your drag racing it. So I'd do some basic's, like tires, sway bar, maybe a-arms, big 3, and then shocks and motor after that. But you may just want it to haul the mail right away!
