Thats alot of work and some nice pieces of billet ali to make them work (I have made a template). It can be done and takes quite abit of time with the milling machine. If you working on a budget then try the lower end Elka's. If youre not then go for Motowoz shocks. Simples !
the Polaris Outlaw have the same kind of clevis type fitting that we do. These shocks also look to be able to very adjustable and some of those quads have Fox shocks. Has anyone tried to put their shocks on our quad?!
Does anyone know the eye to eye length of the rears?
Usually cheaper and better dont go together very well, but i would think either stage 1 elkas, or maybe those outlaw shocks if they fit but I think the better route would be to get a respring from a reputable shock builder. Not wiggstyle though!!
the outlaws (if they fit) are fox podiums... i'd say that's pretty good if they work right. I just see the outlaws and they look like they have A LOT of threads on them for a lot of adjustability.
It actually looks like there's too much thread fo the length of the spring. I would bet that not all the thread is usable as the spring would have no tension left against it if screwed all the way out.
I got my 525 irs fox podium front shocks today on fedex i need to get some springs for them now but I will be modding them to fit on my quad tomorrow so i will let you guys know how that goes. if I works out i might buy a pair of the rear 525 shocks and try them as well.
