One thing I am scared of with getting a 700xx is the prices I see on them. There are crazy deals like this one on e-bay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-...81QQcmdZViewItemQQptZATVs?hash=item439a90b8c5
$4,987!!! AND no other fee's (except for your state tax & title).

The used one near me has about 2-3 hours on it, and he wants $4,900. Should there be a concern if I buy a 700xx that I won't be able to sell (or practically give it away) if I need to?

It seems crazy that $4,900 for a barely used one may not even be a good deal, or is it? I'm just not sure

I can't sell my raptor for 3500. Get an XX for a little more - it's a better quad anyway. These aren't made for resale and after you ride it, you wont want to sell it anyway.

I also let a set of brand new paddles go with it and the stock wheels and tires. New ITP wheels and tires were on it.
Yeah i've got wheels and paddles i'm trying to throw in on mine as well... no one really wants them around here though.

I was just thinking that the new 700xx on e-bay is about a 5 hour drive from me, so 1 day round trip. $4,987 + $312 tax + $30 title + $100 gas = $5,429 Total cost for a new one with 12 month warranty. That would be about $500 more than the used one if he doesn't budge on his price. That price is about $500 cheaper than the best OTD price I found around here. So pull the trigger on NEW or save $500+? and go used? Or go show the deal to my local dealership ;)

Deal with the local, i'll bet they'll come down $500, are you gonna pay cash or finance it?

Finance - but I have a credit union that I belong to about 3 hours away that will do 4.99% for up to 48 months, and 5.29% for up to 60 months. Seems like a good financing deal. So it would be worth it to go new you think?

If you're going to finance the payment over XXX months will be unnoticeable. You'll be paying multiple times that in interest anyway so get the new one! :hey:
