Finally got out today, but just for a little while. I can honestly say that the install of the Sonic arm made a huge difference in the handling of my 700.
Its not like a straight axle, thank god, but does turn better and still has the nice ride of the IRS setup.
I need to readjust my shocks now to compensate for the stiffer rear end.
I actually got to play on the berms some instead of launching up and over them. Tomorrow will be a better test and on Tuesday, I am taking the stock shocks with me to do a complete ride test with stock suspension and the Sonic arm..........Stay tuned...............

So far, 2 thumbs up to SONIC for thier product

Me too. So far, it feels like a completly different quad. And its just gonna get better.

Dave01,

I'm glad you had a great test ride with our anti roll system. Now that your rear is more stable softening the shocks is a good idea. You no longer need stiff shocks to control your sway in the corner. You can now let the shocks do their job and let the anti roll do its as well.

I have completed the front anti roll components completed so Monday I will be sending it out for your testing. I'm excited to get a ride report of the whole package and not just the rear.

I will be getting on the list for a front system as soon as I save a few more bucks. If it works even half as good as the rear setup does, it will be fantastic...... Thanks Sonic for putting the R&D in on such a great product.

Another short day of riding, but I am getting closer with te suspension settings. On Tuesday, we plan on swapping the stock shocks back on for a good test on a stock quad. Just the feeling I have now, but I think the difference from all stock to stock/Sonic setup will be like night and day. No comparison at all.I'm not into jumping, but one of my friends did a little and the quad really handles the off center landings better. No more bouncing to one side. That may have been from my rear shocks being stiff too.

I was wondering exactly what I need for a full system for the rear sway bars for the XX. I am definitely interested in purchasing it sometime, but I'm not for sure if I need 1-10 or not.

I'm not sure what was included by looking at the part numbers. It seems like the parts list is for both the front and some of the rear parts. A quick call to them and they can answer any questions. They are great with customer support. I do have a little tip for mounting the rear arm. Once the stock one has been removed, bolt the 2 clamps that will be holding the tube in place, without mounting the tube. Measure the distance between the clamps and then measure the tube. Put 2 marks on the tube, so you can be sure it is centered when you do the final install. I didnt do this and had to work to get a pair of micrometers in there to get the bar centered.
Just a heads up for anyone mounting the rear system

The part numbers on our website apply if you are looking to purchase spare parts. If your purchasing a full assembly you don't have to worry about the parts list. Just let us know what you need the bar for and we will take care of the rest.

I would suggest centering the main support tube with a tape measure before you assemble the rest of the anti roll bar.

Next time I have a 700xx in the shop (which will be a week or two when I get the axles back for the rear a-arm kit) I will measure the width and put marks on the tubes for centering.

I was riding around on the pavement, which I almost never do, and even on the hard asphalt, the quad turns so much better. The front end push is almost all gone, and I think with the stock shocks, it would be gone. I still am playing with my Elka's for fine tuning.
I can actually turn at slow speed without sliding the front tires

That's good news to hear. $500 is far better then spending a couple thousand, I stand here a changed man. Looks like I will be saving up for a new sway bar in the late spring or summer.

I was just as skeptical as most about if it would work or not, but after checking out thier website and seeing the article in the magazine about the IRS Raptor, I just had to try one out.
Plus, as you said, the price is right too.

andy sent me an entire set ... got them today ... ill be putting the rear on first as you have dave ... following with the front installation ... appreciate the heads up on the installation.

i cannot wait for the rear a-arms ..should be next week.... gonna try some custom axis rear air shocks.... mostly to cut down on weight ..with sonic rear and the custom axix shocks ..should shave another 15lbs off the machine :)

and side note ... fellas ... he sent them to me on trust ... should say much about the guy and his business ethics .... and is building rear a-arms because we asked him to... so i hope some yall pick some of his stuff up.

Trailinme... You looking to sell your elkas/fox rear shocks?

Sonic... Do you know if the new a-arms are will be lighter than stock? I'm not really worried about it but was jus wondering. Is there any other alloy the axle could be made of that would shed weight?

Good to hear about the sway bar.....My intial thoughs on the stock unit was that it was not stiff enough for a Tall 230 pound rider such as myself. Plus the lack of adjustability on the stocker has myself also in the market for a new rear sway.

The swaybar setup is awesome. I'm 215 lbs and now when I climb on the quad, i can stand with both feet on one side of the nerf and the quad only moves a bit, but on the trail, the IRS is still working great
