Has anybody used the Sand Gecko how are they compared to haulers looking for some feed back from people who have had both.

I haven't ridden both, but I will tell you they won't compair. There is a reason skat trak cost more. I had other sand tires and I've seen the difference. My advice is buy once

Hauler vs Gecko is like 4wd traction vs 2wd traction. The haulers are amazing paddles for climbing and hooking up on sand, the gecko's will turn better but will not give you the amount of traction. Depends of what kind of rider you are, if you ride tall dunes the haulers are amazing, if it's flat beach riding it won't matter as much. The hard core sand guys will always take skat~ paddles because they are made better and worth the money for them.

I have had both on my Raptor and liked both. Geckos seemed better on the off camber sand but the Haulers are hard to beat. And you have the cost difference. Not sure the that the costs makes the Haulers any better but their design does. I let them get away when I sold the Raptor and would have kept them except they were 9". I don't have any for the xx yet but intend to.

Xstriker- I noticed on the post above mine that you are running 20x10x10 and it looks like you have them on 7" wide rims. I am looking for some 10" wide rims. Do the 7s look like they balloon to much? Thanks
