Some oil treatments on the market today contain a chemical that is known to cause corrosion in engines! This chemical is chlorine and, when used in the oil, can cause serious corroding affects on your engine. Chlorine is used due to it’s low cost but is it worth the damage? I think not! “Typical lubricating fluids contain anywhere from 0 to 150 ppm of chlorine, which is considered a trace amount.” AMSOIL does not recommend using additives in the oil! AMSOIL oils are complete, meaning that they provide all the protection needed for your engine without the harmful side-affects that additives claim to protect against. On that note, AMSOIL is completely compatible with other oils including synthetic and conventional.

YUP! Now the parts reviewed were on a Cummins diesel engine but just imagine the affects on a smaller engine that runs as hard as these xxs do!
