I just got a new 08 700xx and want to add a steering Damper, what is the best option?

I bought a CCP for $160 shipped...about $250 less then precision... ask Nasty700xx and Phuchnutz their opinion since the race with one of each...

Where did you buy the CCP damper? and how well do you like it.

I have the precision and it is very good. For the money I would say the ccp, I would try and get it painted though. It will change colors soon.

Thanks, I am not sure where to buy one.

I've looked on Rocky Mountain ATV and a few other sites but I must not be searching the right way.

What other option would you recommend? I have a Rincon but this is my first sport quad so I don't need to peal my face off.

Good idea to read through all the posts in the thread. I also posted some pics of my install in the "pictures" section under the title "for dagirl71"

The main thing here is that there are some things that have to be moved to fit the damper... and this applies to the damper from Precision and Elka as well.
