I went to my local mx track on Sunday and basically tried the TT setup to find the limits , but with 22" tires allround. The Speedracers would drop it another 2".
It was scary at first till I got it dialled in , tankslapper in 4th gear and serious amount of understeer.
The front 450r front shocks were fully tested as I over shot the bombhole ,missed the downslope and landed in the flat part at the bottom(about a 30' drop).
Good fun and surprised at the outcome but would go for stiffer springs on the front before I try it on tarmac.

I put the EHS Big 3 back on. Only second try with it and love it ,the torque is unbelieviable. As for rest of the mods very little. Need more parts Ed !
There about 30/35 450's there but they all pulled off the track as soon as appeared at the start . The only people who would ride with me , where the kids.

I did 3 flying laps with the Gopro on the back , but it packed up after 1/4 lap. Batteries flat !
The noise was the fronts bottoming out , I had the wrong springs on . I was having too much fun to change them and went threw 2 tanks of gas.
Going back shortly with a few tweeks and more gas.(and batteries). :xx:

It shouldn't but it does work and I like this setup "big time" . Now I have to figure how to make it work with 23" rears. The 700xx is so easy to make work and fun to ride and I am using this setup for Round 6 in 2-3 weeks.
There is no guide book for the 700xx , so I am just gunna have try stuff and keep trying. There is a few things I will change overtime.
Like the stem , you need taller . First lap out , I felt like I was sat on the front light. If you know someone with a set of TRX450r stock front shocks put them and try to ride it . Be careful as it is a weird feeling and twitchy.
Also 450 riders scare easy ! and the kids have no sense of direction ,racing lines etc. Good to watch though. We have all been there .:xx:

Shave the seat down...way too much foam, lowers you COG and makes it a whole lot easier on the TT tracks

Alot less. But would NOT recommend this on a totally stock 700xx , theres more to it than swopping them.
Having a compression adjuster , correct spring rate and custom valving makes alot of differance.

The 450r shocks will fit straight in. No mods.
