I finally ordered my l8ton 9/16 sway today and I'm also going to order Teixteira Tech upper a-arms. I'm wondering if the needle bearing upgrade is worth the $60. Opinons?
Shocks will have to wait until fall. Summer ends riding season here in Phoenix.

Are you supposed to grease them while installed? I pumped grease into them till I couldn't pump anymore (about 3 pumps) so I was curious how you push the old grease out.

did the zerk appear damaged if not its probably just tight tolerence once they break in you should be able to pump grese through them
of course that is just an assumption as I dont have a set yet

So after they break in should you add more, or will it start to push itself out to keep fresh grease on the bearings?

You don't want to push the grease out unless there is water or contamination that has entered the a-arm. If there is contamination in the a-arms it will ooz out as you pump grease in. If there is not contamination and you force the grease in to hard, you will blow the seal out.

I just add 1/2 a pump every now and again. They don't need alot.
What Baxter said. You only need to add a little every now and then. After every muddy and wet race you should try to see if you can pump any in and after every washing. If the water gets in there, you will be able to push it out with a pump of grease. The delrin bushing have a seal and you don't want the grease ooozing out all over the place. This will only attract dirt and grime. This is the reason for the seals to keep the grease in.
