Hi all,

I race Masters here in the UK on MX Honda TRX450r's and have won many championships over here. I am currently in a good qualifying position to ride the British Championships 2010 at Pro Level. I have my own full size MX track and XC tracks and just eat, sleep and breath ATV.

Enough shit already!!!

Anyway, bought a 700xx this week for the Weston Beach Race and I didn't realize what a serious bit of kit this is. Run it in on the Dyno and took a reading. 44hp at the back wheels. Removed the airbox lid and spark arrester, fitted a Power Commander, a little tinker later and 49.7hp again at the back wheels.

Read almost every post on here and learnt a lot from you all already, thanks for the info.

I'm taking the beast up to Scotland and going to race it for fun this Sunday, I'll let you know how I get on when I get back!

The track was a sandy MX track which roughed up, deep rutted and whooped out very quickly. The 450's in the race struggled over the deep sand and looked to be struggling over the rough. Whilst me on (the tractor they called it) glided over everything.
7th in the first moto
3rd in the second
And finally when I learnt to trust the awsome 700 won the last one.

Big issues getting off the line though, luckily coming from the back was ok on a nice wide track.

Can't wait to see how it performes when fully kitted out for full MX racing.
