So I was thinking about running an open airbox and I already have a UNI foam filter on my bike....I don't run in super dusty areas...typically no do I plan on submerging my bike? Would it work to run an outerwears prefilter over a foam filter to keep "splashes of water from getting into the filter? I wouldn't see why not but I figured I'd bounce it off you guys....and girl to see what you think....I love my EHS programmer and Barker pipe but 130 for a lid is hard to swallow.

The only think that I would think that would make it not work is that the oil from the filter might become absorbed into the pre-filter and block even more air when it gets dusty.

Oh, that and it might not fit inside. (I say this not knowing how big the outerwears actually is.)

Thanks guys.....I just ordered the generic kit from EHS for $55....I'll make my own cap for the end...(not worth the $35 for bling IMO)...Might as well support a small independent shop...thanks again though!
