Ok, my xx ticks and I'm pretty sure it's normal, but I have the only 700 I have heard and/or rode and although I haven't checked the valve clearances yet, my 450r ticked pretty good even with the valves completely within spec...
My quad starts up and runs beautifully, no smoke just a little clickety clack from the rocker box, I may be slightly lean, but I am saving for a FMS and it doesn't really hesitate or bog from idle to the limiter at all...I also have alot planned, but want to tackle this first...
The only mods it has are a K&N with outerwear, the stock spark arrestor and baffle removed, a billet exhaust tip, AMS swamp foxes and a one tooth up (yes up) front sprocket (will clock it soon)....
Here's what I'm wondering, do others tick also ?
Oh, I also heard they make a switch for the 700 now that will turn your fan on a few degrees cooler, does anyone know anything on these ???
