:rock:I stopped before i went that far. It has the factory fuel lines,cp pistons, I beam connecting rods with 60lb injectors and fr500 cams and a Teskid aluminum block. I just wanted a 10 sec. street car on pump gas. I built it before the terminators came out, it's a 2001. I would go with a turbo and a automatic if i were to do anything else, but then a roll cage is needed after 150mph on our 1/4 mile track.
hno: I feel for you, my 1st car was a v8 it was a 1970 Mercury with a 351C engine! And my old 79 truck has the same size engine in it now. My Mustang has a 281 v8, and Suburban has a 305 v8. sorry about not posting in liters, but I know there all around 5.0??? 2.5 had to be a very small v8? I know Pontiac made a big 4cyl that was a 2.4. And my v6 Firebird is a 2800 or 2.8 lt.the only V8 i have ever owned was in a 1963 mk2 jaguar/daimler and was a whole 2.5 litres !
