It's because it's a V-Twin. I have a Gade that's piped. A KFX700 also with duals.

I've had the two brothers slip on and the Yoshimura and I like the Yoshimura sound better. They both did about the same on my butt dyno. Also, the Yosh seems to have a little better design into the mid-pipe leading to the can.

I agree, my little SV650 w/yosh slip on sounded better than any hardley I've ever heard, and would run away and hide from them as well, at least in the twisties :lol:

I have a cam'd 100" S&S Motor in my chopper... that Vtwin sounds pretty good
