We had that here a little while ago. The lakes were down almost 25 feet and some of the bigger boats were left on dry ground because the owners were away from their summer house. Some of the people not familiar with the low water level ran aground all over the place. How bad is the drought where you are? Another reason why alcohol should NOT be allowed on boats. They don't allow it in cars so why the double standard???
Yeah, that sounds about right for the lake level here too. Heck it could even be 40' below what it normally is. (I think, we just moved here.) In 2002 it would have been at flood stage at the dam. (so that's the last time the lake was really high)
Wow. That does put a major hurting on the boaters. We have been lucky here. It has rained on and off for the past few weeks and the lake levels are almost back to normal. AND there's a lot of mud on the trails It's a win win situation. During the drought last year you could not be less than 150 feet behind someone or else it was like riding with your eyes closed.
Yea our lakes are up 15' or here in tenn. its been rainin ALOT! Not been ridin much in the last month:steamed: :disgust:. But we been tearin it up last couple of weeks!!! ITS BEEN LIKE SNOT ON A DOOR KNOB!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao:
