We had that here a little while ago. The lakes were down almost 25 feet and some of the bigger boats were left on dry ground because the owners were away from their summer house. Some of the people not familiar with the low water level ran aground all over the place. How bad is the drought where you are? Another reason why alcohol should NOT be allowed on boats. They don't allow it in cars so why the double standard???

Wow. That does put a major hurting on the boaters. We have been lucky here. It has rained on and off for the past few weeks and the lake levels are almost back to normal. AND there's a lot of mud on the trails:) It's a win win situation. During the drought last year you could not be less than 150 feet behind someone or else it was like riding with your eyes closed.
