Hey i was looking at these heel guards and was wondering what u guys think? I was considering getting them powercoated in either gloss blk or red, i have the 08 red and blk 700. which color would u think would look better?? and also does anybody have them or there skid plates? I was goin get the full skid plates setup from them 2.

I have tossed the idea of these around I like the looks, I would go black, IMO that would be too much RED. But I think they woud bent very easily, rocks, sticks, thats why I dont think thier for me. I like the looks, Cooooooool!

yeah i was thinking that red would be 2 much also but 4 the durability part thats what i was hoping that some1 else had these and could tell me if they hold up t the punishment of trail riding! but they do look damn good though:yay:

Yea they got looks! But I'm iffy on the durability. Too much flat aluminum to bent and or break. How thick is the bottom/flat part?

IMO... PRM is top of the line in quality and durability... their full skids are great too... i don't think you'll have problems in that area... as far as color, i like the way black looks, but that's just me...

I've had PRM products b4 also they do make awesome products but I'm leary of those side bars that flat aluminum looks like a problem waitin to happen, cause I get tons of rock, and sticks thrown up from the front tires. I think some one has those on here but cant remeber which thread I read it in.

Here's my thought...if you get the nerfs I have (DG Factory w/Rear Nets) which are powdercoated all-black except for the pegs, then paint the pegs red....that would look pretty badass. :tup:

i called prm 2day and they said that the flat/bottom piece is .063 thickness! Now how well would that hold up as far as trail wise?
