What's the best intake? I took my filter off last night and measured it to find a K&N that will fit it.Cheapest horsepower is an air filter IMO.
But if I had to pick a favorite it would be a muffler, the power add and the sound make it very worthwhile to me.
Now, with ALL that said, my 700xx is still BONE STOCK, but it won't in a month because I'm going to be good to myself for my birthday and probably get a programmer and a pipe.
I want to do that sooo bad, but dont have the $$$$ yet.One mod only.....I would have to say suspension change. It really made the 700 ride and handle better.

Do the stock shocks suck that bad?! I've never ridden on anything else.Unfortunately, that is also the most expensive mod. Shocks cost a ridiculous amount. But you are right, of everything I did to my Raptor, changing the shocks gave me the most return on my "investment". And I only got he Works G Series, no rezzies. Even those were over 500 bucks a pair.
Also, do you just replace the filter, or the duct that goes from the filer to the throttle body?Cheapest horsepower is an air filter IMO.
ahhhh... ok... must resist the "buy it now"...Ebay, The velocity has the added filter material on the end adding to flow plus its supplied with the correct insert that goes on the stock intake tube to fit correctly. The Universal K&N is not "bolt on"

So really, if you were piecing stuff together, you'd need the programmer first (see my other thread I just started)Rocky mountain has 'em cheaper (free shipping) with an outerwear.

Yes, you should get a fuel programmer if you get one. (my opinion)
