Well so far I went riding with it on Sunday with Nash and dagirl. I know I felt a few big rocks hit my skids. When I cleaned it today I had not one mark on them. I only regret not getting the nerfs done. I prob will do that soon since after one ride I see scuff/scrap marks on the powder coating. I realize it won't look pretty for ever, but if line-x helps with the scratches , I think its worth it. You would really have to bash something really hard to pull the line-x off.

Well find a reputable comany near you who does line-x, not rhino liner. Then take the stuff there and they do the rest. however if you are going to use skid plates with a front bumper you may need to cut the skid plate a little to make it fit. If you look at my pic of under neath, look at the top, the tiny gap there is from the cut. I took it to a machine shop and worked great. They charged me $20 for the cut. I would fitt it all first prior to line-x. It cost me around 200 for everything to get line-x which I think was cheap considering they have to prime it first. If you can't find a dealer near you, I know of one you can ship the stuff to and he is very honest

I like the look of it but considering the weight of line x did it seem to add a whole lot of weight? How thick did they put it on?

The stock rims certainly can be line-x. I would do it with the tire on, they will tape it off, just to ensure it doesn't cause a seal problem with the bead. But I am sure it would look great. However I don't think its worth the price to line-x them to be honest because the stock rims are so crappy. Looks like I started a new fad for the 700 with line-x LOL

I have not seen any issue's with the stuff I line-x. I know the Rhino liner is much heavier then Line-x. I can not speak for the rims though

Where I'm from Rhino Liner and Line-X are the same except for the name. You can get either in different thickness.

I really like the look of the skid plates much more than plain metal. Overall I think it looks great!
