Does anyone else run a different oil?

I think I need to do my first oil change I have ridden 5 times about 28 hrs and two tanks of gas could be on third...

still haven't received my owners manual...

Honda GP4 all the way nothin better than Honda oil in my opinion!

Amsoil 0w40. No better oil than that. Have 2 bikes with over 30k with it.

AMSOIL 10w-30 for wet clutches (motorcycle). I use AMSOIL in my trucks (gas and diesel), atvs, boat (6gal per motor) and car. I trust it completely but most of your oils out there are very good when you follow the maintenance schedule. Its personal preference. You cant go wrong as long as you use one designated for a wet clutch application.

You should have change your oil by now, especially since this is the factory oil and you can use any synthetic oil made for motorcycles, GN 4 is very good.

Yeah! if you're racing! Depending on the type of ride (heat, desert, sand, water) you can go up to 15 hours of driving. I personally take the dipstick out and let the oil drip on a white rag and check the color of it and haven't had any issues for the 17 years.
