i just got a killer deal on a LEXX fuel controller on ebay. For right now my quad is all stock i just have the baffle removed. So my question is will i gain anything with the fuel controller with a stock quad? Will it hurt my quad to hook it up without an exhaust or intake? If anyone has used a fuel conrtoller with a stock set up what are your settings? Im a noobie here and am trying to learn all i can. thanks in advance.

Shouldn't hurt. and should improve the way it runs. Also should be shipped with correct settings for the stock 700xx. I order'd the PC5 and it came with the stock map. Seamed to be more responsive, but now with the big3 and new map, its real responsive.

thanks for the reply. I just went a head and ordered a EHS racing lid for the airbox so now ill be a little bit modified from stock.. now i gota get me an exhaust. just picked up the XX on saterday. Looking forward to beating the hell out of it lol

Sounds good, let me/us know if your EHS lid looks like the one on the web site. Mine did, but someone recently posted a picture of something totally different and said it was from EHS. As for exhaust it took me awhile to make up my mind on what to go with. In the end I found a good deal on ebay, like $160.00 off msrp. on HMF. Once you get your exhaust installed you will need to reset your controller.

I would recommend it highly. It fit's perfect no issues. I have what they call the performance series, which is loader than stock maybe 4 decibels. If sound is a concern they make what's called the Competition series. This come's with 3 inserts, for noise and performance gains. I think you could get this for $450 or less. $565.95 MSRP

If money is not a concern I'd go with the Sparks, have it powder coated and the header ceramic coated, "black". Would be close to like $650 shipped with spark arrestor.

It's all on what you want, and the opinion of better. All I can say on that is research repacking the mufflers. The HMF looks like a real mutha to re-pack, and the sparks looks pretty simple.

Swapped the rivets out with some bolts in the barkers. Repacking is a 5 minute job now. It is loud as hell though.
