Well I just bought my 08 700xx during that time I had about 50+ acres to ride on that was mainly grassy and dirt roads and trails. Now that I have moved my brother in law and I discovered about 700+ acres of wooded trails filled with all kinds of mud holes! INSANE!!! Well he has a 420 Rancher and can hit mud like theres no tomorrow. The 700xx can handle anything within reason that you put in its path. But Ive been bitten by the Utility ATV bug:cry: and now want one. Its much nicer not being covered in mud with full fenders then the ones that are on the XX. Should I sell mine or are there any mods to make it a better mudder? Its completely stock and I just did my first service on it today. I dont know what to do!!!! What could I get out of mine price wise?

Third party sell might be tough since most dealers are currently selling XX's out the door for around $5k or less (47-4900 sale price). Just got mine last weekend for $5200 out the door...

I would say, if it still looks good, you could part with it for around 4-4.5k. Good luck and I do have to say the Yamaha had a sweet lookin ute at the dealer when I got the XX. I almost tried to convince my GF to change her mind...almost.

get some 24 inch super swampers or somethin similar and a 13t front sproket and see how that feels then you could do the fender mod and get the solid bottom nerfs to help keep the mud off of you might help idk i personally enjoy being mud covered. and if thats not enough you could always go big three with one of the shops mentioned in hundreds of threads on here alba, EHS, ect...
