It all depends... What year and engine are we talking about? Pre 1987.5 i would pick Chevy with the 350. Currently it would be the Ram with a Cummins or Hemi, but I do have to hand it to Dodge with the old Little Red Expresses or an old stepside Warlock, some sweet lookin trucks.

However, street rod style (1940's and before) I would have to say the Ford's are some of the best looking rod trucks, just need a cleaned up 350 for a powerplant and you're set.

Honestly, I have never met a Toyota that wow'ed me enough to place it above the big 3...

I would say the ford straight 6 300 was a brilliant engine. And Toyota makes trucks?:lmao:

I use to be a ford boy. But i graduated highschool, grew up, and became a dodge man.
And possibly a transmission specialist? Love the Dodge looks but their drive train sucks ass! I'm a Ford guy but my dad has the Toyota Tundra and I must say that thing is pretty bad ass and the 5.7L I-Force engine is fast as hell

I always liked impracticality so I lean toward the Lightnings and SRT-10s of the world. You can never have enough horsepower. No matter what Toyota says the best thing they ever made was the turbo Supra , and a sticky gas pedal to scare everyone back to the big 3 old timers.

If VW ever (yeah right) brought there Amarok to the states, I would have a new favorite truck, but until then, I hate VW for not bringing it here...

As of 2010, the engine range consists of two 2.0L Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI)common rail diesel engines; the entry diesel produces 90 kW (122 PS; 121 hp) which develops a maximum torque of 340 N·m (250 lb·ft) from 2000 rpm. The top of the line bi-turbo powered diesel produces 120 kW (163 PS; 161 hp) which develops a maximum torque of 400 N·m (300 lb·ft) from 1500 rpm.

It's no Duramax or Cummins but the bi-turbo 300 lbft of torque is impressive and you know VW will have a good driveline.

I return you to your previous discussion :D
