Why are all the 700XX's from 2008? Did Honda not make the 2009 or even 2010 model

There are only 2008 and 2009 models, Most are 2008 because there heavily discounted... I assume

Here in Richmond Va area The sales MGR. says they will not release the 09's to them until all '08 are sold?? but he said they will run out of 08's before the promotion ends in March...then they will go back to $7k
