Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but anyways...

I live in WI and am keeping my quad in an unheated garage this winter.
I plan on filling it up with gas and adding stabilizer to it. What stabilizer do you recommend?

Also is there anything else I should do besides starting it up a few times a week?

It is already getting below 0 at night here.

I just use regular STA~Bil fuel stabilizer. Toss a battery tender on it, cap the exhaust, and forget about it. I will still ride up until mid December here, and start back up late March. Hell it's going to be almost 60 Monday!

If you do start your quad during the winter months, just be sure to let it run until completely warmed up. Otherwise, there's a a chance of moisture getting in through the exhaust. I personally don't start mine unless I'm going to ride it.

I'm with M_Quick. Every thing exactly the same. Buy a "Battery Tender" Brand. It's great.

I'd spring for the plus model. The jr. Will do, but don't pay $40 for it. I have a jr. And then found a plus at the local k-mart for under $40. The plus models are supposed to be better, something about temperature compensation? But idk for sure, but if so I'd go that route since you live up in the artic climate.

Ok our Kmart here is actually closing so everything is super cheap. So I just leave this hooked up to the battery all winter?

Yeah, it will come with clamps and eyelets. You can attach the eyelet cable to the battery and run the cable out under the seat. So you don't have to take seat off to charge.

My quad came from the dealer with "Battery Tender" eyelets already in place... The dealer uses Battery Tenders to keep their bikes all charged up until sold... They just forgot to remove the eyelets when I bought it.
Most of us refer to a dealer as a "stealership", but mine is actually pretty good... bought 2 bikes from them 300ex and my 700xx... good prices, very good service department.
