I am in the market and it looks like Elka and Fox are tops around here, but I am interested in some feedback.

The A-T steelers are not very good, trust me, I had them. Have heard very good things about the Black Widows though.

ive heard good about their more expensive shocks like the black widows and some of the others no first hand experience tho

I had a works quadstar on my 400ex in the rear. I should have just kept the stock shock. Not even close to being worth the $500 I paid. From what people are saying you have to spend bigger money with Works to get a good shock. I'd just go with what works for sure elka or fox.

I like the works shocks I have on the front of my Rincon, I am sure I would like Elka's better. The adage you get what you pay for, applies for shocks as well.
