Mquick, why didn't the guy get off his machine and push it while you were pulling it? Looks like if he lifted up the rear end, you may have been able to get it up a bit. Just a thought. Congrats on the win.
DRT, I sold my quad, so my sprockets went with it. I'd give anything to have some memorabilia haha. JK.
Snoshoe - I bought a new outlander 1000. One of my cousins (he is 16) had a mud event with some kids his same age. I was out cruising around in the "swamp/bog" and they asked if I thought their trucks would make it. Let's see, my 1000 lbs quad was sinking sitting still in the mud, so what would a 5-6000 lbs truck do. Yep, your right, get really stuck, but I said "Yeah, no problem" Damn kids always taking advice from older people with out thinking haha. So all three trucks got stuck, I bet a kid $50 I could pull him out. I did. 3 hours on the machine. But figured the worst I'd do is blow a belt. 1 hr later on the machine, blow my first rear differential. Get it fixed under warranty. 3.5 hrs later, blow the second, this time I didn't pull anything or abuse it in anyway besides doing some wheelies. I am not on the 3rd rear diff, have 5 hrs on it now, and am pretty confident it is going. Moral of the story, all of our quads can handle a lot, but if you don't have a Honda, don't try to overdue it haha.
