They bolt in the same as the oem grab bar. The DG is one piece, from frame to fender supports. The PRM is a 3 piece design, you can see the fender brackets in pictures. Also the PRM one recommends drilling a 3rd hole one each side, to have a 3rd bolt on each side. directions say not necessary but if you haul much weight recommended. The DG only has 2 per side, so I don't think it's necessary. Also to drill the 3rd hole on the exhaust side you would most likely need to loosen the pipe, for clearance.
