By take off, do you mean "new" take offs?

do you actually think ds 450 shocks will work on a heavy ass rzr?

Sorry I been away for work. Yes they work well on the back of the rzr just to soft of spring, valving is close enough. I'm sure shocks purpose built for rzr would work better but your talking 1000-1800 vs 400 for ltr450 shocks on front and ds450 shocks on rear.ltr's are perfect in spring tension and very close on valving, Ds's are a little soft on spring tension. Comparing a race style ATV with a 200 lb rider designed to take major jumps to rzr that's hard to get off the ground and just bounces down the trail maybe a washout or stump they're pretty comparable, I deffinatly wouldn't use them for jumping at the dunes but they work awesome on a trail machine.

Yes I'm getting old. I thought the honda trx700 forum would be a good place to find some trx700 springs, there has got to be some people that have upgraded. These shocks are for the 50" trail version rzr. Actually very popular mod running ltr450, trx450 or kfx450 front shocks on the front of rzr and yz rear dirt bike shocks or ds450 fronts on the rear of the rzr. The 50" model comes stock with garbage shocks, no adjustments and springs that are to weak and sag within a few hundred miles.the Ds springs are a little soft though for the heavy ass rzr so throw me a set of your 700x springs my way, help an old man out!
