I got one that I'd be willing to trade for a good stock lid. Where I live there is nothing but sand and the lid makes my filter dirty as hell in no time.

I got this one from a trade I did here on the forum a few years back. I don't know if it's a genuine EHS lid, might be a prototype or DIY job. But it's made well and does the job very well. It just gets my filter dirty as hell in no time with all the sand here where I live and I can't stand cleaning my filter every time I ride my 700.

I been looking for a stock lid for sometime now and all I can find is way over priced used ones.

I'd like to see some pictures of it before I decide to go with the trade. Is that cool?

i dont agree on that the ehs keeps your filter cleaner therfore less changing the filter out! i tested in all of the above and then some , that lid keeps us from having to service it after every ride i dont know what went wrong with yours but i totall disagree on that, you sure you dont have a tear in the outerwear or you must not have the billet front piece that blocks the top front of the lid, oem is open therefor thats the prob with the oem

lol tbird,

I vaguely remember this issue from the past. And I believe Eric chimed in and said it was his lid, but a early prototype. And your right about the front not being blocked off, causing the big issue.
