HP4S or GN4??

what is the best oil? is synthetic ok? what do you guys run im curious right now i running spectra and idk how good its doin for me, let me know

Synthetic works just fine. However, ANY oil must be formulated for use with a "wet clutch". I use GN4 right now, but will be switching to synthetic this summer.

yea i was just curious my engine has been sounding pretty loud, idk i think/hope its just the oil and some people say the 700s run lound i hear a lot of vibration, do you?

You could check the valves

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!

I put Valvoline ATV 10w40 in mine this weekend has anyone else had experience with this oil.

I have not, what does is cost a quart?

i have used this before in my previous bike, does the job nothing special though i use it to flush my quad if i happend to go a liitle to deep

M_Quick it cost 5 bucks a quart, I like the thought of being able to go to Autozone or someplace like that and get my oil. I have been around atv's a LONG time and really i don't see the advantage to the $9.00 a quart "special" oil. I would think the low volume (sales) of those oils are the reason for the high price not for them being superior. BTW it meets and exceeds the Honda spec.

Yea but for $9.00 a qt you get Synthetic oil. And autozone sells the mobile 1 and the castrol 4t
