Spent all day riding today tight woods, uphill, rough and rocky stuff, ruts, and mud. Arms are jello but I learneda lot about the XX. The "pushing" that you notice zipping around on flat ground, parking lots etc. dissapears once you get into the woods with tight trals and real terrrain. Maybe I just riding it different or learned how to ride it better but the handling was excellent. I do ride a lot farther forward and can see why Honda puts padding almost all the way around the tank. With my weight over the bars the quad turned or pivoted shar if needed and the IRS sucked up the bumps. The IRS really showed it's stuff on rough rutted and rocky areas. One hill especially was all washed out with loose stuff and basketball sized rocks. the XX just blasted right up jumping over ruts and sucking up big holes as well as rocks that I just couldn't miss. Impressive. Kaw 450 could not get up the hill in three tries. Differential kept bottoming out, loosing traction and when it did hook up he looped it! Friend on a 250KTM EXC took two tries to get through. Not only did the XX go up it but also down and back up. Pretty much going to forget about the sway bars for now. Better tires might not be a bad idea though. The stock shocks seemed to work pretty good. The thirteen tooth sprocket was absolutley perfect for this riding, Most of the time in third and used first only in realy rocky technical stuff. Overall really impressed with this quad.
