I'm not afraid of any rocks, sure I get hung up sometimes but not as much as you think. It just requires different technique to go over them. I just go over the rocks with my tires instead of the center of the quad.

Glad you liked them! It was great riding but very tricky going back on the other side of that ravine, took us about 2 hours and it was only about a mile long!

The xx did alright, on some parts he got stuck because of rocks grabbing at the rear a-arms, overconfidence on the the IRS is what caused this.

I fly through the trails and so do my raptor buddy's. Only difference is they go through a scattered swing arm plate and I don't. Actually I ride with a yfz 450 and raptor 660 that don't have plates and their rear brake discs are a mess.

That sure does not look like the rappy is having any trouble...but there ain't no way I would take my bike through that, but good on ya....looks like a tough ride, I'm old and just prefer the drags and a nice trail ride every now and then to that kind of stuff anymore.

waving

Sorry i owned a rappy and they cant go everywhere the trx700 can but with skill a good rider can accomplish alot on a raptor they are a good quad.

No quad is perfect for every type of terrian, which is why there is a selection of differnt sizes and types of quads.

Is a trx 700 perfect? No and neither is a rappy.

Basically i see the biggest difference in the rappy and TRX700 is ground clearance and one is made for trails and one is ok at trails.
IRS is better for trails and desert racing just weighs more

I looked at an 09 s.e. but my xx was cheaper for my pocket book and I liked the irs. I would still like to get a rappy in the collection someday, they have their definite place in the off road world. I especially liked the red marblized look in 09. After we get a house maybe i can talk the wife into getting one for her.
