Fuel pack for rear bar

Has anyone tried the fuel pack on the rear grab bar or is it better to get a utility rack to carry fuel.

Thanks in advance

Koplin Fuel pack or the jr that hold 1.5 gallons. I was thinking about getting one to attached to the rear grab bar. If that doesn't work I was thinking about a six pack rack to carry some fuel on long rides.

He must be riding all down hill, lol but really you should get around 60 to 90 miles unless your racing or just really on it. And oem tank is only 3.01 gallons and 0.95 of that is the reserve. I usually run around 40 to 60 miles before flipping the reserve on. Have you seen the 4.8 IMS tanks?

tbird I know you added fuel to get that far, not saying you cant go that far on 3.5 gals but man...

yeah thats like 1/2 throttle and less /liesurely cruising before the alky hol kicks in! yeah and 3 gallons gone i then hit reserve which i so close to 1/2 gallon i call it a half gallon and no there is no hills big enough in LA to save like that on gas mileage. the tallest hill down here is the garbage dump, but natural tallest is 300ft above sealevel! nothing like the appalachains or rocky mtns!

The real trick is getting 12 beer's in a 6 pack rack! And somehow you haul a fuel can too! The PRM rack must be bigger than the DG one I have. I have to squeeze to haul 9 beer's lol.

its a compressible cooler and a narrow /slim plastic jug/ and only can beer works! after original testing i dont need to bring the gas can any more because i can make my loops and still have gas in tank which is a 75 mile loop and of course beer is gone after 75miles thats if i do it by myself ! if my utility buds come we can bring as much liquid or gas as we think will be enough! for the expedition!

I got a few of these tanks for my dirtbike for going on long trips. It was cheaper than buying an oversized tank. Each one I think is around 33 ounces, and they work great. Throw them in my camelback and call it good. But if you think you'd need just a little bit, I'd get one of these and throw it in the cooler LOL.

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!
