Damn I have no idea what a inguinal hernia is, and sure don't want to Google it! I hope all goes well and you recover fast.

Thanks guys. It basically means that the muscle tissue in my groin area tore and has a holein it where my intestines stick out. Pretty damn close to my duffel bag..:P

Its amazing how far a KFX 90 will fly if you go fast. 15' is her current record.

That's rough bud. I had a hernia at my belly button that kept me down all summer a few years back. A buddy had the groin hernia one on each side and he said it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be. He recovered from two faster than I did from just one.

The doc said I'd be out for 8-12 weeks. I really don't think I'll be down for that long. But you never know. I just hope I recover quick. After surgery I won't be able to much of anything. No riding, no boating, no wake boarding, no lifting, etc..So my summer is forked once again. 2 (maybe 3?) summers ago I broke my leg riding and that shot that summer to shirt. I look forward to summers here and when something happens that prevents me from enjoying the summer I get really bummed out.

Yeah I was down 6 weeks. But you'd be surprised how little you will actually be able to do without it getting irritated. It will pretty tender. If they give you the mesh screen to hold your guts back in like I have then it took a good year and a half before I stopped noticing it was there. Even to this day and it's been about 4 years since my surgery I don't think I could take a direct hit to that spot without crying like a little baby. It seems like it would still hurt a lot. My cat steps on me there every now and then and it still kind of hurts a bit. But again that was at my belly button so groin is a whole different ball game. No pun intended. But you'll be alright.

Surgery done. Suck ass. Hurts like hell. Walking around like a hunched back old man barely getting around.
