Shout out

Hey I just wanted to say thanks to Baxter. He has helped me with my rear hub swap out and its been great.

I know people get tired of talking about rear tires and rims and adapters and......

Its a problem that Honda could have easily avoided for us. Anyway Thanks Baxter I wouldnt have gone this route had I not stumbled on one of your threads from a couple of years back.

I don't see how honda could have avoided it without either widening the bike drastically or shortening the A-arms to allow for a less extreme offset (which would have probably made the suspension choppier and lead to more extreme camber changes), atleast that's what Honda said when the bike was first released. it's the price you pay for IRS. The outlaw does have a 10inch rim but the rear end of that thing is a mess IMO.

Ok, just something I learned from personal trial and error experience as well as from lots of the other guys on here - the 11inch rims with the stock offset works the best in most cases atleast. It's fun to experiment though!

Most cases , I will agree with that but It's good to put on some 8" rears and put it on a mx track. The fun bit is owning a 700xx.

2008 TT-ReXX , 2003 400ex and 2014 CRF250r.

As the manufacturer they could have done several things different. That isnt an off the shelf rim they used it was designed for this quad. They could have designed a 10 inch rim with similar offset.

Regardless of what they did with the rim they could have used 4/110 bolt pattern to give us options.

Thats all Im saying.
