I deal with both Sebastian at Elka and Mike at ATV Galaxy and have them compete for the sale. ATV Galaxy will usually get me the best price but Elka likes to throw free incentives out there like shock protectors, hats and shirts and even extra adjustments (like rebound clickers) for the same price at times.

I have the Stage 4 on the front of mine, I paid $1410 for 2 shocks awhile back. Now you can get all four of the new light weight stuff in the stage 3 for close to that price! See if you can get them to fight over this sale, and add the rebound clickers. Mostly see these closer to 2k for 4 shocks. I will be looking and thinking about upgrading the 2nd 700 soon.

Looks like they bumped this price, it was $1495 and I believe all stage 3?

I've had stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 on various machines and I can honestly say that all of them would be an upgrade to what's on the xx from the factory but if you want to do a little bit of custom adjusting, I'd atleast go with stage 3s. Elka may have changed it, but stage 1 are generally only preload adjustable up front and also have rebound clickers in the rear. Stage 2s have the same adjustments but also have external resevoirs. Stage 3s have everything that stage 2s have but also have low speed compression dampening adjustments on the resevoirs. Stage 4s have just about everything. Hi/lo speed compression dampening adjustments on the resevoirs, rebound clickers on all 4 corners and preload adjustments.

My red 700 currently has LT stage 3s but to my surprise, Sebastian at elka threw in rebound clickers up front at no charge. He did the same thing when I ordered stage 3s for my renegade but I have both done and given him a lot of business over the years. The first time I ordered from him I got no such deals so just a heads up.

I run a set of custom Elka LT Stage 4's with oversized built in reservoir, oversized piston/bladder custom bleed valve, and magic carpet valving. I almost upgraded to the Stage 5's but wouldn't have time to test and tune before racing again so decided to wait until after Vegas 2 Reno. I couldn't imagine riding/racing without custom suspension on the 700xx.. Come to think about it I've never even ridden one in stock form.
