Dream Quad 1000XX

I have been thinking about buying a Polaris Scrambler XP but do not like the 800lb weight and the CVT belt looks like a PIA to replace. Not a big fan of Polaris either. But I am leaning towards this atv as I like the idea of having 4wd, EPS, fenders that offer better splash protection, and some racks so I don't have to wear a back pack.

What I would like to see is Honda take their Pioneer 1000 engine and put it in a 700XX frame (or Rincon) and make it 4wd with power steering fenders similar to the Scramblers (sporty looking but still provide some mud/splash protection), keep the weight under 650lbs ready to ride, use 12" rims so there is a wide variety of tires (come stock with the Maxxis Big Horn 2.0's. keep the 700XX ergonomics, and put on some better shocks. That 1000 makes about 100 hp and the 6 speed DCT transmission could be run in auto or push button shift. (no belt to break on the trail).

That would be a Scrambler/Renegade killer and the ultimate fast trail riding machine.

I say this as a Dream quad because Honda has been sleeping in the ATV market for a long time. How does your flagship atv the Rincon not have EPS?

2008 700xx with lots of goodies.
